Colin Trevorrow will return to direct Jurassic World 3

Colin Trevorrow will be behind among a dinosaurs as he earnings to a director’s chair for a third complement of a Jurassic World franchise.


Executive writer Steven Spielberg told Entertainment Weekly and writer Frank Marshall tweeted Friday that Trevorrow, who destined a initial Jurassic World in 2015, will approach Jurassic World 3.


Universal Pictures formerly announced that Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael will co-write a movie, that is set for a Jun 2021 release. Carmichael co-wrote a sci-fi journey Pacific Rim Uprising that was expelled final week. The franchise’s second film, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which Trevorrow co-wrote for executive J.A. Bayona, opens Jun 22 and stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.


The initial Jurassic World ranks among history’s biggest box bureau hits with $1.7 billion US in worldwide sheet sales.
