A news programme has launched, made for, and by people, from the shanty towns.


Covering everything from discrimination to drug trafficking to culture, its young anchors hope to shed light on what life is really like.


Al Jazeera’s Teresa Bo reports from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Newly released documents have shed fresh light on the confusion unleashed within the military when a 2015 trip to Iraq and Kuwait by former prime minister Stephen Harper took an unexpected turn.
